We believe in great food because great food tastes (for want of a better word) scrummy, really scrummy - alright then, three words! Think of the crispiest, fluffiest roasted potato or an utterly indulgent sticky toffee pudding, drenched in a hot, thick toffee sauce and chilled double cream…Mmmm nice isn’t it – well, that’s what we do...take good ingredients and make great food.

After 20 years of cooking for friends & family, in 2006 I took the plunge and gave up the day job as an immigration consultant and founded For Your Table. The original idea was to cater for private dinner parties and batch cooking for families (freezer fill) - bespoke yet affordable menus for friends and clients in Beckenham and the surrounding area.  

Slow at first, we broadened our horizons and began catering on a much larger scale. 2008 saw us take on our first franchise; Shortlands Golf Club – day to day control of the kitchen - providing snacks, lunches, dinners, buffets and functions for 80+ diners.

Our reputation at Shortlands grew and in January 2009 we took over the franchise at two additional venues, Beckenham Cricket Club and Number 47 (a private guesthouse boasting exclusive dining and pool parties in the summer).

From small acorns…no longer at Shortlands Golf Club but still expanding our business we offer a complete range of on and off site catering services to complement almost any occasion. Still, the founding principle remains the same – take good ingredients make great food.
