For this season’s menu, we have tried again to provide a wide range of tastes and flavours but as always we welcome your suggestions.

Soups designed to be a meal on their own rather than an accompaniment 

·         Cannellini Bean & Pasta – a thick vegetable soup brimming with flavour (v)

·         French Farmhouse – a wonderful concoction of vegetables, bacon & sausage

Vegetarian dishes that are low in fat, highly nutritional & scrumptious

·         Cheese & Onion Pie – seasonal root vegetables with sage & nutmeg (v)

·         Curried Dhal – red lentils, potatoes blended with aromatic herbs & spices (v)

·         Moussaka – aubergines, puy & green lentils, tomatoes topped with ricotta & parmesan (v)

·         Ratatouille Provencal – aubergines, courgettes & onions swimming in tomatoes (v)

·         Shepherds Pie – black eyed peas, lentils & carrots, topped with goats cheese mash (v)

Fish dishes without a chip in sight

·         Baked Swordfish Steaks – infused with a deep tomato sauce

·         Cakes Thai Style – white fish, lime, chilli, coriander, ginger & coconut in breadcrumbs

·         Pie – succulent white fish, capers, gherkins, eggs & parsley under a crust

·        Cakes – salmon, parsley, cornichons, potato, in crunchy breadcrumbs

·         Smoked Tart – salmon, haddock, onion & cream wrapped in a parmesan crust

·         Cacciatora – ripe tomatoes, rosemary, wine & then some more tomatoes!

·         Espanola – butter beans, chorizo, tomatoes & herbs

·         Feuillet– mushrooms, bacon & crème fraiche in puff pasty

·         Flan – a combination of cheese leeks & nutmeg in a crusty flan

·         Oriental – ginger, soy sauce, rice wine & chilli to tantalise your taste buds

·         Oven Baked – chicken in a sweet & spicy barbeque sauce

·         Braised in Cider – shallots, garlic, vinegar, thyme & crème fraiche

·         Meatballs – mortadella, sage, parmesan & parsley with rich tomato sauce

·         Wicked Spare Ribs – red wine, soy sauce, honey mustard, garlic & ginger

·         Braised Shanks – cannellini beans, tomatoes, onions, garlic & rosemary
